Nude Beach

Nude Beach And Nudist Naked Beaches

A nude beach is almost the same as any other beach. There is a sandy or rocky beach, water, waves and people around to enjoy it all. The only thing that sets these nudist beaches apart from other beaches is the fact that the people go there to experience it all while in the nude. Nude beaches are frequented by people from all walks of life and most are just normal looking people like everyone else. There is a misconception that you need to look a certain way to visit a nudist beach but in all honesty, the nude beach is one of the most accepting environments one can find.

Many of those who visit nude beaches report that there is a certain openness to the people in comparison to a textile beach. People are more friendly, sociable, and they look out for each other. It’s also a less judgmental environment overall since there is no clothing to indicate a person’s status, wealth or occupation.

It is important to note that while people are naked at the beach, there is no overt or explicit sexual activity allowed. People are expected to behave and follow the laws just like at any other public beach. It’s also meant to be a family-friendly environment for the families and kids that visit nude beaches.

New Clothing Optional Nude Beaches in Florida

Call To Action: Sign These Petitions and Help Establish Two New Clothing-Optional Nude Beaches in Florida With its ideal climate, over 1,000 miles of coastline and a huge tourism industry, you would think Florida State would have a lot more official clothing-optional beaches than it currently does. Not only is its environment conducive to nudism, but Florida law expressly states that public nudity is legal “in any place provided or set apart for that purpose.” Florida case law has established that nudity becomes a crime when it involves “lascivious” behavior, and simple nudity is not a violation. But Florida has ... Read more
