It means a complete acceptance of the human body in all its diverse shapes and sizes. Regardless of race, age, or appearance, anyone can practice body acceptance for themselves and others.
There is no sense of embarrassment or shame.
Body acceptance could be the foundation for a way of life. One in which participants have a total freedom with the body that is truly liberating.
There is no need to be ashamed of the body itself or certain parts deemed taboo by society. Those who engage in full body acceptance may choose to engage in social nudity. They may participate in any activity without a need for clothing, and the best part is that they don’t have to feel bad about what their body looks like.
